mission
Matthew 6:10 - "Your KINGDOM COME, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
That is the mission of Kingdom Come in a nutshell: To establish the Will of God here on earth as it is in heaven by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the arts and entertainment media.

I'm not a preacher, teacher, or singer. I grew up loving to watch cartoons and reading comic books. Some would say that makes me a geek. Then I guess George Lucas (creator of Star Wars, the greatest sci-fi epic of all time) and Stan Lee (creator of some of the most iconic super heroes of all time such as Spider-Man and Avengers) are geeks also. If so, sign my name on the list because I would be among great company. I love Star Wars and I also love what Marvel has done over the last decade with their cinematic universe. I'm fascinated by how people can sit down and create these characters and their stories. I wanted to do the same thing. As I got older though, I noticed something - there were no black or Godly superheroes. Sure, Star Wars had Billy Dee Williams but he wasn't the main hero. Spiderman lives by the phrase "With great power comes great responsibility" which can be equated to Luke 12:48 "To whom much is given much will be required." We've also recently been introduced to Luke Cage on the small screen and Black Panther on the big screen, but these aren't enough.

I've always had a vision of creating my own comic book heroes, but that vision was tweaked a little once I gave my life to Christ. Instead of creating more run-of-the-mill heroes and trying to introduce them into a market saturated with superheroes, my mission became creating Christ-like heroes and stories that people can relate to. I want to change the perception that being a Christian means being a punk, a push-over, or what the world seems to believe, that you have to be perfect. Christians are human, so we make mistakes. It also takes great strength to be a disciple of Christ. If you don't believe me, look at Jesus Himself. All He did was heal the sick, raise the dead, feed the hungry, and perform other miracles. What did He get in return? He was disowned, spit on, beaten beyond recognition, and crucified, the most humiliating form of death during His time. Even after all that, He asked that His tormentors be forgiven even though He could have destroyed them all with barely a thought. That, my friend, is strength! I also want to give our youth more positive images of Black and minority characters other than the pimps, hustlers, drug dealers and sex kittens that are so glorified in our culture today. So, it is my prayer, my vision, my mission to establish more Christ-like images not only in the comic book industry, but also in the animation, video game and movie industries. I pray that you will come along for the ride and join the Kingdom. God bless!

ISAIAH 53:5 (NKJV)
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
